Tomorrow is Area Marching Band competition in Channelview. The Cougar Band & Guard is having a Community Send-off performance at 6:00pm in Cougar Stadium TODAY Friday 10/22. Come on out and support the Cougars in their final performance before Area contest tomorrow!

We'd also like to wish the best of luck to our friends in the Tiger Band, Viking Band, and Ranger Band at their Area competitions!

Didn't make it out for this but Kel texted last night saying they made state which is amazing! She's excited and can't wait to go watch!

Both the Cougar Band AND Tiger Band advanced to State! Congrats to our kids, fine arts staff, and the community for your incredible support!

State is next Monday & Tuesday in the Alamodome.

They achieved this under very adverse conditions.
Originally supposed to perform at 2:15pm.
Lightning Delay for over an hour.
After lightning delay they were 3rd to perform.
during 2nd band's performance, the lightning warning went off again.
Then delayed until after 7pm where they performed in the rain.

Tied for First with their amazing performance.

First time ever for CSHS band to go to State, so they made history!!
