What do we know about the potential candidates?

David Levine is the General manager of the local Mercedes dealership. Got a chance to meet him a few weeks ago over a car issue. He seemed like a great guy.

We could cut through all the BS and just ask each candidate if they supported Trump and his agenda. A simple yes or no would make it easy to choose a side.
Not really. The issues that a local official has to deal with are not at all the same as national issues.hudmoon said:
Doesn't matter what it means for me, but it would be easy to decide if you support that candidate or not based on their answer. You don't agree?

The most important thing to be aware of this year is that Maloney and their block voting group want to make elections on non-standard voting years so that they can lower turnout.

Proposition C: City General Election Timing
Shall Article III (The City Council), Section 17 (Number, Selection, Term), Subsection (d) of the College Station City Charter be amended to provide that the general election is to be held on the November uniform election date of each odd-numbered year instead of on the November uniform election date of each even-numbered year; and to provide a process to transition from even-numbered election years to odd-numbered election years?
It increases city costs and helps their block retain control. That should tell you what you need to know about that group's priorities for the city.
