Went on their website yesterday to purchase season passes and they were "sold out". Should we be looking next year to buy these in June or something?

Don't they have a big sale in July? That's probably what happened regarding the sell out.
Bought ours a couple months ago because last year we waited so long I had to call and beg to get 4. Try calling, worked for us last year.
I thought the big sale in July were just one time use tickets, not season passes

Second year in a row we've been "too late" to buy season passes... I had a Labor Day calendar reminder set up to remind me (I just can't win). Does anyone know WHEN these things go on sale? Maybe early Jan?
