Getting conflicting information from news sources and online. KAGS says boil water notice but didn't know if anyone else heard same thing for College Station.

Currently College Station Utilities is NOT on a boil notice,

KAGS website can be confusing though because of how they list it, but it is those in CS who are on Wellborn Utilities and Wickson Creek who have to boil.

Correct, City of College Station water system is not under a boil water notice.

There are some neighborhoods in the College Station city limits *served by Wellborn* that are impacted so I understand why people are confused. For example, Creek Meadows and the Barracks on the southwest side are inside city limits but served by Wellborn SUD so they are impacted. If you're not in or near those areas, no need to boil. If you pay your *water* bill to College Station you are not impacted.

Questions, refer to the City of CS website or Facebook or Twitter.

Anytime the pressure drops below 20 psi the water companies have to put out a boil notice. Wickson and Wellborn have struggled with the blackouts and some burned out pumps, lowering their PSI and/or stopping the water flow altogether in some areas.

I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled.

As of Saturday afternoon Wellborn's boil order is lifted, per their website:

"On February 17, 2021, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Wellborn SUD, public water system #0210016, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 20, 2021.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Stephen Cast at 979-690-9799, email cyoung@wellbornsud.com, or leave a message on our website at www.wellbornsud.com."

The last alert from Wickson Creek, dated Feb 19th, was still for the boil notice. No notice that the boil notice has ended for Wickson has been posted.
