They were unloading a trailer full of light towers when I drove through there yesterday afternoon, so I assume they're getting ready for an early morning concrete pour.

Also, do yourself a favor and do not speed in that construction zone, especially when workers are present.
CSPD has cleaned up with the traffic stops there.

Six months ago, Brazos County commissioners were asked to widen the county's portion of Greens Prairie Road between two improved areas in the city of College Station.
During Tuesday's meeting, commissioners unanimously approved an interlocal agreement (ILA) where the county will spend $4.2 million dollars.
County judge Duane Peters says College Station will be responsible for future maintenance.
College Station mayor Karl Mooney, speaking on WTAW's The Infomaniacs, thanked the commission for approving the agreement.
The ILA has yet to be considered by the College Station council.
Thank god. That was going to suck having the narrow section between Castlegate and Creek Meadows.Tailgate88 said:

The City actually planned ahead for that one.
Council just voted to make it 45, not 40.MiMi said:
And when are they going to end the work zone 30 mph speed limit and uncover the 40mph signs that have already been installed between Arrington and Castlegate Drive?
Most of the work zone signage is gone, so most drivers are following their own speed limit suggestions.
You mean the weeds that have gone unchecked for the better part of the last year aren't staying?ElephantRider said:
No clue if true or not, but my neighbor said that they are planning to do landscaping work and are keeping the work zone in place until that is done.
Glad they did that before they put up any 40mph signs.AggiePhil said:Council just voted to make it 45, not 40.MiMi said:
