Suddenlink down anywhere else?

Another suddenlink thread. It's down at my rental. Went down last night. They can't ping the modem, so it may be isolated issue.

Of course they can't get anyone out until Monday, and the supervisor was unavailable. So my tenants have no internet and no cable TV on first weekend of SEC play. I'm livid to say the least.

I probably won't make suggestions on where paying tenants should go for TV. Probably something they can work out. It just aggravates me that suddenlink sucks so bad and there's nothing I can do about it.

I own it. FYI - if anyone has altice modem (combo router / modem), taking it to Bryan location and waiting for 1.5 hrs to swap doesn't help. They don't have any of that equipment in the Bryan store.

no.. none of my properties have it..

If my tenants complained about no internet, id tell them to read a book or take the family to a park and play frisbee.. The world is better without it...

No idea. I've had a lot of success with keeping rentals full.
I guess it's great.... until it isn't. Not sure I would go that route knowing Suddenlink's abysmal record and reputation.

An occasional outage is no big deal, really, but the first week of football is just par for the course for those jokers.

I have to restart my modem at least once every couple of months FWIW

Im sure you already tried that but just in case

ETA: Completely unplug from power. Wait 10 secs. Restart

Suddenlink sales department downgraded my tv package this week because my package was no longer part of their portfolio. Didn't occur to them to call me about it. So now I don't get sports package that includes all the ESPN channels plus CBS sports. Been on chat with them for almost an hour to get it fixed.

Down here as well in Southwood Valley. Call their number and at least they show an outage and should be up by 2 pm. At least that is what the auto message said.
