What are you irrigating? If it's row crops then Brien Water Wells. They are more suited for Ag purposes

What is the rough cost to drill a well around here? Someone told us it was crazy expensive, so we never even looked into it.

6-10K depending on depth. Also you're likely to either have iron ore water or sulphur smell so for home you gotta treat for that.

Brien did ours when we built a few years ago.

Thanks. We were mainly thinking to pump into our pond to keep it filled. It has dropped around 4 feet each time we hit a drought

You don't say where you are but I used M&M Water Well in Madisonville.

Highly recommend them. The owner is Ken Starr, no, not that Ken Starr.

Thanks for all the recommendations!

Should have included that we are a mile or so outside of BCS and need it for residential irrigation.

Following up on this post. We got a solid bid from Siegert Water Wells. Super easy to work with and highly recommended.

Their rate is $23.50 per foot for the hole plus parts (sleeve, pump, pressure tank, etc). At an estimated 425ft the total turnkey cost was right at $20K.
