Is there a place locally that anyone knows of that can fill RV tires with nitrogen? Specifically a travel trailer. TIA.

You do realize that our atmosphere is 78% nitrogen?

Why do that? ... inflate tires with nitrogen.

I just googled it, because my travel trailer will come with nitrogen-filled tires:

"The main benefit of nitrogen-filled tires is that the loss of tire pressure is slower, because the gas in the tire escapes more slowly than air does. With more stable tire pressure, the thinking goes, you'll get better gas mileage and get full tire life since you're always rolling on fully inflated tires."

Mostly hogwash.

If air is 78% nitrogen, and half leaks out (presumably mostly smaller molecules) and you refill with air again, you now have an even higher percentage of nitrogen, yes? I don't buy into paying extra for nitrogen.

My retired science teacher wife said something about water vapor in air that would not be present in pure nitrogen. But, I don't know **** about science and figure that she made that up to try and impress me.

100% pure profit.
Some import dealers will deflate tires and refill with Nitrogen and charge $100

I always rotate the air in my tires annually, whether they need it or not.
