Motor Oil recycling or disposal in BCS ?

Does anyone know of locations to dispose of used motor oil in BCS ?

I used to take it to the CS location by the police station but that was closed down

I take mine to the landfill. Bryan had a place at mlk and dansby like the cocs site. Was closed some last year but was supposed to reopen. Also advanced auto parts took it at least at one time.

think that is autozone but many parts places and quick lube places take it.

All of the auto parts places accept it now unless they are full.

Some of them just take your bottles and do it for you, some of them expect you to walk in the back and do it yourself. I think it's just down to whatever employee you talk to.

I end up at twin oaks landfill once a month or so, I take my oil there.

Autozone manager is College Station used to say I had water in my used jugs which was impossible.
I asked him how my truck could run on water and oil. This was a few years ago so nobody can get in trouble.

Simply put, he did not like having to take used oil. He would open each bottle and look inside.

My oil went straight from truck to container. No water.
