Lost the tops of over half dozen trees, another uprooted, and yet another snapped at the base (about 4' diameter)

any met folks have an opinion on the storm that tore through Washington County?

curious as to the other weather events that could produce so much carnage.

Straight line winds can do just as much damage as a lower end tornado.

A microburst can do EF3 level damage.

Doesn't look like the Houston NWS office is going to send out a survey team (they usually announce if they are on Twitter) so likely nothing as of right now to make them think a tornado touched down.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill
