Any decent home game tournaments going on?

We have a group and also have created an online tourneys with real money
Our group/league plays Friday's for most part.
Trying to grow the online group for future second wave isolation time

You only looking for tournaments? I'm not sure about that but I know there is a cash game option if interested.

I have a "low stakes, friends only, family game" that plays every Friday night. Only missed 1 week - and that was due to Good Friday, not "social distancing".

Hard to estimate the time it took, I did little bit here and there that took me longer than it could have. If interested in more details you can text me nine 7 nine 2 two nine 2 3 zero one.

Materials depends on a few factors. I spent around 1000.

We found an old kitchen table for 100 and we re able to repurpose those. Legs can be much higher depending on the type you want.

This is a 10' table so it took a bit more plywood than a 8' would take. 8' table you can do with as little as 2 pieces.

Felt was about 300 with the customization.

Rail vinyl and foam about 300.

Random stuff about 50.

That is freakin bad ass. Would love to start playing online again. How are y'all doing that?

That's a good looking table, but you way overpaid for a lot of that stuff.

I searched around for all but the legs, which we had, and for the stuff I used you really can't get it cheaper. You can get cheaper options, but they will be cheaper quality as well.

I guess. My current table has over a decade of weekly games on it and it's still in prefect condition. Maybe I just got lucky with my cheap materials.

How much?

Shoot me a text when you get a chance, 9 seven 9, two two 9, 2 3 zero one. This one might be a little big, but we can always make one smaller (8 or 9') if that would work better. I had a good time making it so I wouldn't mind doing another project.

We have a league on PokerStars and each tourney although play money we buy into via Venmo and disperse our winnings

If you play enough we settle up after two weeks or so rather than each tourney.

What stakes? I'd love to play again.

Usually between 10-40 in buy in. Mainly $20 We have done some different things and styles of tourneys in the past. Don't know how long we will continue on a frequent basis as everything is starting to open back up and our league of live poker will start back up soon.
We usually set up a tourney at 8pm and then a winner take all at 9:15. Scaled back to three days a week and May go to only one or two days a week in June unless we add about 10-15 players

Others can come if they will fit in. Game is a $10 buyin, unlimited rebuys until the break, and a (optional) $20 addon at the break. Everyone has a $5 bounty (you pay the player who knocks you out for good). Optional $2 high hand both at the break and at the end of the night. $39 total cost if you don't rebuy.

Usually have 15-18 people and end up with ~$700 in the kitty. Payout structure is on the "flat side" (pay 5 players).

If you're used to $100 buyins, this is probably not the game for you. We already have more maniacs than we like.. ;-)

How sloppy is the dealing at your game? That's my biggest problem with most home games. Like dealers flashing the bottom card in the deck cause they don't have a cut card and keep holding the deck, or people that put the flop (or turn or river) out, face down, before it's time, or letting people dig through the discard pile to find their cards so they can show everyone that they folded the 3-5 that would have made the straight, or other sloppy stuff like that.
That's why I've always ended up hosting most of the games I've played in.

Our league typically gets about 30 to play. Online we are still going to play on Wednesday and some sundays as well.
