Interesting in that they all have different numbers of teams - looks like a full schedule for the Cougars. Tigers & Rangers should have the opportunity to book some good non-district games. Vikings are all over the place again.

Vikings back in their old stomping grounds with Temple, Belton and Killeen, etc.

So Cleveland, last I heard, hadn't won a football game in a several years, gets bumped up. Nice.

I don't get why Lufkin isn't in the district with Tyler and Longview. Even with the other schools in the district, that gives them two relatively close schools.

It does, but overall the travel to and from the rest of the schools in that district looks more onerous, even if the far northern school was dropped. The positive thing is that it is only for football, and Lufkin has much closer schools for the rest of its non-football schedule. For football, it is one home game and one away game for two years, right? Shouldn't be that big a deal for CS, and Lufkin's location has often made it an outlier.

My question is where is Cleveland getting 1900 kids from?

Probably out in the sticks, same place Magnolia gets enough kids for 2 large high schools.

Stupe is correct, Magnolia is growing rapidly and also has larger district boundaries than College Station.

Cleveland is gaining students from Houston sprawl. There was an article in the Houston Chronicle about it.

There's pretty much two Magnolias now. The old town and then the new development closer towards The Woodlands. Still a lot of rural areas in the district attendance zone but the sprawl has arrived.
