How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone into using scanners? With Police and Fire on the P25 Phase II, does anyone recommend a good scanner with those capabilities?

There are several available. They tend to be on the pricey side like $350-$400 and up. Several models are made by Uniden and Whistler. A couple Uniden models that are popular is bcd436hp and bcd536hp, handheld and mobile/base respectively. For Whistler Trx-1 and Trx-2 both handheld and mobile/base. These models tend to be on the higher end thus more $. Both companies have a few lesser end ones that should do the job too. Uniden has a Home Patrol-2 model that is designed for ease of use but some don't like its form factor. Doesn't look like your traditional radio scanner but neat color screen.
There is (or was) some various online feeds for our area you can pick up thru several streaming sources. But obviously you are limited as to what is being provided. At times not much of anything worthwhile, depending on your interest.

Thank you for the input. I purchased the Uniden handheld you mentioned.
