Need to get the Tahoe in for transmission service. Who do you use? Do you just go to the dealership? Oliver Bros.? Anyone else?

I was honestly thinking of going to Oliver Bros over Tom Light. But was just looking for other recommendations out there

Johns Transmission is no more. I talked to him about a year or so ago, and he said he thought about doing them out at his place, but was going to hang it up.

If its not doing anything abnormal you can take it basically anywhere and get them to replace fluid and filter. Otherwise, it wont matter where you take it its likely toast. Just check the owners manual for proper fluid and make sure the shop has it avail.
