Found a Weather forecast of sorts on weather.gov saying our area of the country might have a 40-50% of having a 'Warmer Winter Than Normal'.

- My thoughts are we probably won't see snow this year around Christmas - bummer

Technically if it has a "40-50% of having a 'Warmer Winter Than Normal'" wouldn't it have a 50-60% chance of having a "cooler winter than normal"?

No, there's a 19.45% chance that it's exactly normal

I think the Farmers' Almanac is calling for winter to be colder than normal.
