Terrye Yvonne Lambert, 65, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Don K. Lambert. She is survived by her mother, Paula Jean Lambert of Greenville, Mississippi, her brother, Robert E. Lambert, of Littleton, Colorado, her niece, Audra C. Lambert of Woodside, New York along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Terrye worked as an electrical designer for MEP Systems Design and Engineering in Dallas, Texas for almost 30 years until her death. She graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, Mississippi and completed her Bachelors degree at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas.
Terrye loved both her immediate and extended family dearly. She took an active role in family reunions, by both planning and researching history of her families. An avid horsewoman in her younger years, Terrye was also a strong supporter of her active duty military family and frequently supported troops overseas with donations and care packages. She was a devout Texas A&M Aggie fan, following in the footsteps of her parents, and spent many wonderful trips throughout the US attending Texas Aggie football games. She was also an outspoken member of the TexAgs website, where she made numerous Aggie friends.
A funeral service will take place at the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Greenville, Mississippi, on Saturday, July 13th from 4-6 pm.
