Any recs on a sports dietician in the area? My son is a sophmore dual sport athlete and I would like to get a more taylored approach to his training and energy needs. Any help would be much appreciated.

At this age, I'm not entirely sure your child has highly specified needs. In any case don't mess around. Speak with Dr. Steve Riechman. He has a joint appointment in kinesiology and nutrition and works with elite athletes.

The American Dietetic Association website www.eatright.org has a Find a Dietitian link to find RDs in your area based on specialty.

Another option is to search for RDs who have attained the CSSD, Certified Specialist in Sport Dietetics.
