Las Fuentes is pretty good, according to a friend of mine, but I have never eaten there. I try not to meet anyone in Hempstead.
If I had to eat in Hemptead, I'd go with 1st Class BBQ or Hempstead Seafood and Steak.
Can you make it Chappel Hill...Bevers Kitchen and better pies than Royers

Hempstead Seafood and Steak. Very wide variety of seafood and meats. Prices are reasonable as well.
1st Class BBQ is worth the drive to Hempstead. Their meatloaf is absolutely amazing. You have to get there early in the day. The last time we stopped there around 1ish on a Saturday, all they had left was brisket and chicken. They sold out of everything while we were there eating.halibut sinclair said:
