Top of the Hill makes a chicken fried steak smothered fries so I am sure they have chicken fried steak (just always got the burger). It is good but can be a bit over peppery if you don't want that

Yeah, those 2 are prolly the best in town. That's a shame though, being in Texas, that we don't have more good chicken fried steak places here. I remember, back in the day as a kid, eating chicken fried steak at a place called Wehrman's Cafe on what used to be called 25th St. in downtown Bryan back in the late 60's, early 70's. Still the best chicken fried steak I have ever eaten.

In 1992 there were so many more places with CFS. Every Monday was CFS day in the Ag CaFe on campus and it seemed like half the Corps was there every week.GiveEmHellBill said:
