Ty Brock started his first collegiate game Saturday after redshirting his first year at SHSU. He also missed most of his senior year at CSHS with an injury. Dude went off:

27-of-43 for 305 yards and a TD.
18 rushes for 82 yards and 2 TDs.

#21 SHSU beat #13 Central Arkansas 34-31

Led SHSU to a 54-21 win over SFA yesterday. Came out twice w a leg injury. Scared me. Btw... he threw, ran and caught a TD.

Ty is a young man everyone in this community should be proud of. Lost two seasons - basically - at CSHS because of injury but has bounced back and is doing great for Sam. The guy took his injuries in stride and both cheered and coached his Cougar team to greatness. His story is one that should be told to make us realize that maybe we aren't headed to hell in a hand basket.
