We'd like to refinish the wood floor (~800 sq/ft) and replace the carpet (~1200 sq/ft) in our new-to-us house. Any recommendations on contractors/businesses in BCS to get quotes from? Anyone we should avoid?

Good success with Home Depot on carpet. Caught one of their installation specials. Contractor did an excellent job.
