I'm deaf in one ear and have a tough time hearing, especially in crowds or if there is background noise.

What are some restaurants that are somewhat quiet? Texas Roadhouse is definitely off the list. Most hole in the wall places are fairly quiet.

Christophers and Veritas are both pretty quiet.

It's pretty hard to find a casual dining place around here that isn't loud. And, yeah, Texas Roadhouse is obnoxiously loud. I like their food ok but I have to get it to-go cause I just can't sit inside and not get a headache.

Outback and Saltgrass are both quiet. Olive Garden is a little louder, but not bad. The patio at Porter's is quiet and relaxing-inside, pretty noisy. Imperial Gardens (near the soon-to-open Hooters) is quiet, and good Chinese food, too.

Good luck--noisy is pretty much the in-thing here!

Paolo's and Luigi's both have a very tasteful and quiet atmosphere. Both Italian. The food is good.

TJin in the Kroger center is quiet. Depending on when you go, C&J bbq can be quiet.

Sadly, Chedder's is my favorite eating place in BCS, but the music/noise is unbearable. I'm not sure what they are thinking. Therefore I stay away.

Cafe Capri in Bryan is awesome. It is quiet and a wonderful meal! I try to eat there when in town and can sit and visit while having our meal. They never disappoint

luigis? PHFT... no way.. last time i was there, their live music was so loud we left.

I HATE live music.. I go to restaurants to talk.. if i want music i turn on a radio...

Suggestion: call various restaurants and ask them when their least busy nights typically are, and go then. The Republic, for example is very quiet when not busy, and very noisy when busy. People = noise. Always.

Luigi's has, and advertises they have, live music almost every night. When you go to Luigi's, you expect live music. We love it, and go often because they have live music. I guess it's not for everyone. Which is a really good thing!
