Can't get any local offices on the phone, anybody know if they will have extended drop-off "postmark" hours?

I would be shocked to hear they are.
Years ago, the big post office in Bryan off of William J Bryan had extended hours on tax day.
Extended hours on tax day isn't as common as it used to be.
Extended hours are becoming rare except with the IRS itself.
It appears that the glitch they are having with their website just caused them to extend the deadline until tomorrow the 18th.
