Any recommendations for the B-CS area, and and average cost? Need one for 2-3 hrs, with a good (preferably wireless) microphone/speaker system

Our wedding DJ is Joe from Century Tree Productions. We did the DJ/Photography combo so I don't know what his standalone DJ prices are, but they came highly recommended.
We haven't had our wedding yet, so I can't speak to how good he was, but we had several people recommend them to us.

I second that. I am always happy with her professionalism when I hire her for clients' events.
We used Downtown Events. Several people at the wedding commented on how good they were.
