*shrugs* I'm not informed about stuff like that, would prefer football be played in the elements anyway, but I don't get to decide! I'm sure the teams are excited to be playing wherever they are. Hope it is a great game.

Just learned from my son that the team will travel to Arlington on Friday afternoon and stay at a hotel that night before the game on Saturday. He is so excited. What a great opportunity for these young men who grew up together playing football to now get a chance to play for a state championship! Now we have to defeat the beast, Aledo. One more road trip. Go Cougars!

If anyone in College Station can go to the game next Saturday, please do. It's the first time in 25 years a B/CS team has made it to the State Championship, and this team is incredible to watch. Marquez Perez is magical, and has a stellar support cast that make some spectacular plays. Aledo is bound to bring a solid crowd, but last night's turnout at NRG showed that CS can bring bunches, too. The Cougars need B/CS to show up next Saturday big time. I guarantee you College Station will put on a show, as always.
Anyone have ticket info? My two oldest grandkids go there and maybe they would go with grandpop. Info on game time?
The game is at 11 am Saturday at AT&T stadium - Cougar Club will again have fan buses available from CSHS to the game - I believe the price will be $20 per person - departure time not posted yet but will be early!!
Also Cougar Club is selling state bound T Shirts with all proceeds going back to the student athletes.

They may need more than one bus for this trip. I know people that are going that have kids at Consol, Bryan, and Rudder because they know kids playing in the game.
There were two fan busses this week but you are right, they will probably need more for this game. It's really the only way to go. By the time you factor gas and parking at Jerryworld ($$$) it's a heck of a deal.
And 6+ hours of driving.

There is no way that my in-laws would make me miss a game like this one.
Supposed to be traveling to Oklahoma to see the in laws Friday or Saturday... hopefully the wife and kids don't mind a pit stop
