Sitting at a traffic light for almost a minute without a single car going through the intersection while cars waiting to come out of the neighborhood appear to wait through two cycles does not make sense. Why are these not fixed yet?

Not correct. TxDOT controls the timing of the lights on Hwy 40 and other state roadways, the city only maintains them.Quote:
