I live near this intersection and drove by last night and noticed the sign. Anyone have info on this? First I've heard of it.

It is interesting that they have a special J-1 visa program wherein they bring in certified teachers for their Spanish and Mandarin classes....considering they promote a dual/tri language curricula, one hopes they vet the teachers' English proficiency as well.
Guess CSISD was ahead of their time; their dual language curricula is something like eleven years in place now?

At least it's not an apartment complex.

Some of their other campuses are very nice looking buildings. Hopefully the one they build here will be as well.

So what's "public" if it costs $40k/yr?

The charter school is "free," the international high school in Garland is not free- - it is $40,000 and aimed at international students who want a four year high school degree so they can go on to university here.
'Here' meaning the US, not necessarily Texas
