To summarize, A&M has to pay for all of that specialized equipment somehow and they need to run EVERY POSSIBLE DIAGNOSTIC test to pay for it. I'd take my pet to a vet who uses common sense as a diagnostic tool as well. Only if your pet needs specialized care, would it be worth it to bring to A&M Vet Hospital, and be prepared for a 20-something with no bedside manner to mis-diagnose your pet TWICE.
I take great exception to your generalization. We had to take our dog to A&M twice (once for dental surgery, and finally for a hemangiosarcoma), the latter resulted in her being euthanized. There was no attempt to persuade us for any unnecessary testing. My wife and I could not be more amazed with the level of care, concern, and love for our dog before her first surgery and at the end of her life. These are amazing people working to improve and save the lives of our furry family members.

I'm sorry your experience was bad, but ours, though incredibly sad, was not.
