the statewide ban has been signed. What they are trying to fix in the special is a fix that eliminates the various myriad jungle of individual local bans. Example...AgGunNut said:

The problem is talking/texting on a phone is far more prevalent and done for a much longer period of time than all these things, with the possible exception of talking to a passenger, combined. That is why this is an issue. Try losing a loved one and see if your stance changes.Quote:

I use hands free and I am 100% against texting and driving,. However, I am 100% against the People's Republic of College Station making up rules and regulations on a whim.
