My daughter is teaching a workshop on how to raise monarch butterflies this Saturday. Here's the information from her. This is part of her Girl Scout Silver Award project. Thanks!
------------------------------------

Come join us and learn about raising monarch butterflies!

Our topics will include:
  • finding and identifying monarch eggs, caterpillars, and butterflies
  • making the correct enclosure for raising the caterpillars to butterflies
  • planting and raising milkweed correctly
  • how to identify parasites and predatory bugs
  • releasing the adult monarchs.

All in an hour and a half! Adults and children are welcome for this first session.

Our class will be on Saturday, May 27th from 10:30-12:00 at the Girl Scout Program Center at 909 Southwest Parkway East, College Station. Please RSVP by emailing me at ggs135 at gmail dot com with your name and number of adults and children participating as well as the ages of the children. Materials and printed information will be provided for those who RSVP by Friday, May 26th.

If you're on Facebook, you can also RSVP on the Facebook event. I would love to put a link to that event here but it's just not working. You should be able to find it with a search.
