Who do y'all recommend for replacing a side-window in a 10 year old car? I think the regulator is fine, but the glass is damaged (I can hear parts rattling around). Safelite was my first choice; their estimated quote is ~$234. I have no idea if this is reasonable, so I'd like to shop around.

Also -- if this turns out to be more than just a replacement glass thing, who would y'all recommend to do the work on the inside of the door?

I have used Safelite with no complaints, tried Acme for a change and was disappointed, they botched the job, botched the re-do, and at that point told me that was all they could do, will never use them again.

Sorry for being not-so-present in this thread.

I found David's site while googling for recommendations. I'll def. give him a call. Does anyone know if he can fix a busted regulator if that's indeed the case?
