For those asking about the different TTF's, I have a buddy on TTF1, and they were deployed on a UH-60 out of San Antonio yesterday (he's a FF with Austin FD)…

I haven't shared words with him so I can't provide further details…simply told him to be safe and he shot back a thumbs up…

He's one of the rope drop guys they lower down to rescue folks…reached out to him this morning with no response yet, so I'm assuming they are out again operating in the area…

For all of those affected, may God bless you and your families…and may God bless the first responders tasked with tackling challenges like these…

My son-in-law and our neighbor, Reed, drove Wynne's grandmother down to Kerrville overnight. They are there now. Sheriff briefing the families. Very concerned about soil contamination and scents impacting the dogs so don't want extra volunteers in the field. May be a section of the camp that is not readily accessible so we are praying that there is a chance they are there.

My SIL and friend said it is the most gut-wrenching situation- they are both fathers.. I'm praying for helicopter surveillance and access.

Continued prayers for everyone affected by this. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Looks like he survived but passed away later due to complications. It is on multiple sites, however there is so much mis information that I would hold out hope for a while longer.

Yes, it appears he passed while in care last night.

Found, I think means body recovered. Some are marked "found safe", which I think is the distinction.

My in-laws are close friends of the Eastlands. They confirmed that he passed away.

On the ground here now picking up daughter. It's hard to put into words seeing the destruction under the bridge here in kerrville how high the waters actually were.

Some information from my wife who is directly in contact with some Mystic staff and was once office staff:

She says that the map is relatively correct. Twins I, Twins II, and Bubble Inn are the highest elevation cabins along with Giggle Box and Wiggle Inn on the portion of the campground called the "Flats." They are next to the central office intentionally, and at the same elevations, such that those buildings are the last to need evacuation.

The elevation of the aforementioned cabins, the Office, and the Rec Hall are all 30-35 feet above the normal water level. There is no precedent, even in the '87 flood, for water to come up to the level of the Office/Bubble Inn/Twins. She found from a friend that the plan was likely to keep those campers in place while lower elevation cabins successfully evacuated to the Rec Hall (as evidenced by the photo of the older campers walking in the rain towards the Rec Hall). The waters then rose far beyond what was ever planned for and there was no more time to evacuate the three youngest cabins. Allegedly Dick drove his truck through the floodwaters to try and reach them once they realized it was cresting the hill they are situated on. Then the flood wave came. Even though they are limestone structures, someone told her an entire cabin, Twins or Bubble, may have been washed away with campers inside. For that to happen, the flood waters have to have been 35+ feet above normal. A truly unprecedented situation.

There is still no official word on Dick Eastland being alive. Everyone she is in contact with is tight-lipped. She hypothesizes they are waiting to find the missing girls before drawing attention to the loss of one of the camp directors.

Thanks for the update. Does the camp have 24/7 staff or folks on night shift?

If accurate this is devastating.

Also mentioned is rescues and unifications still happening. Think 4 unification were happening this morning. Still ton of kids at camps with resources but can't get out.

My family is praying hard for this sweet girl and all of the others.

During the Katy flood with Harvey, I was very connected to efforts to get the Red Cross involved. It was very frustrating. A group you expected to be first to help presented us with a ton of "conditions" with their commitment. We walked away and did it ourselves.
