Continued prayers for all involved.

I got text all last night and already early this morning from our Bible study and Church prayer group of prayer still for Mary Grace. Still praying hard.
We love you you and your family. Don't give up.

Continuing prayers for your family and for all of those affected by the floods. Our God is still in the miracle-working business. He will do anything in order to draw his children to Him. He gave us Jesus.

Praying for you guys. My wife knows Mary Grace's dad from A&M. Cant imagine what they're goin through right now.

There's still lots of fast moving water and more rain coming. I would not be shocked if it became search and recovery at some point today. There may be some miracles.

My kids attended and worked at some of the camps in the area over the years. This has been so hard to keep up with and process. We continue to pray and hope for the best for all that are involved with this tragedy.

Still no word on Lytal or McCown girls from Twins Cabin. Praying for miracle at this point.

I imagine the drone and helo thermals are $$$$$$ high end and would pick up heat signatures better. Plus they can be above all the storm debris.

The McCombs were on my mind all day yesterday. Bless you for trying to help them. Johnathan's sister-in-law was my roommate at A&M. She posted that he's working with TEXSAR right now to search for the missing. I can't imagine how he must be feeling. This is beyond heartbreaking. Praying for miracles.

I imagine he is trying to fill a hole that will never be filled by helping prevent other parents from having to endure same. I was at the ECO the day he was released from hospital, he came and thanked us before going out on our search missions. I recall thinking he had lost 35 lbs in 3-4 days from grief. No husband, father, SIL should have to go thru what he did that night and all the days following.

I believe she ran the searches after the public first responders terminated their efforts. She was determined as was he. I may have initially volunteered through her once the private search started.

Sending prayers to everyone. My daughter goes to Mo Ranch, but she wasn't scheduled until late July. She had many friends at both Stewart and Mystic this summer. And all of her friends are safe. Praise be to God for that.

I didn't sleep a whole lot last night. Thinking and saying prayers for Derm and the other families.

I can't imagine. One of the USCG helos landed at Llano airport about 30 min ago. Came from Hunt. They must have drones in the air this morning. Don't see helos in the air right now.

Same here, thought a lot about the McCombs yesterday. Praying continually that more miracles happen today.

I'm near the area and have college boys ready to help but do NOT want to get in the way of any efforts. Anyone know how to best utilize physical labor today for SAR or clean up? We'll do whatever we can to help most helpful. Thank you.

Finding out that at least 4 classmates of my son were at LaJunta and their sisters (2 girls) were at Mystic
All 5 are accounted for if not already home. The girls aren't doing well right now mentally. It's going to take a long time for them to recover from it.

First, that is excellent news. Its traumatic. Its just PTSD... no way around it. Counseling. They probably need it.

Our good friends were notified yesterday that their daughter at Mystic is safe, and is being evacuated this morning by helicopter. Two of her best friends apparently had to kick out a window in their cabin and scramble up a hill to safety Thursday night, but fortunately all are safe now.

Is there a reliable report on the number of girls from Mystic who are still missing?

I *think* the only one who has definitely been accounted for thus far is RS.

Last reported was 23-25 from Camp Mystic.

They haven't said a number of total missing (RV parks, residents, etc).

I know the Mcrory mom and her family. Besides her husband (the little girls father) She also lost her older brother recently who was in his 50s. Unbelievable. Praying for her and her little girl…and all. Couldn't sleep last night thinking of it all as we have kids the same age and just picked them up from camp a week ago.

The helo route is interesting. There is a blackhawk and USCG Dolphin in the air. Their route is over the affected area to Llano Airport. I don't know if they are evacuating there or refueling there, or both.

I used to work at Bear Creek Scout Reservation for years and know the area really well. And as a father of a daughter who just got back from summer camp this hit me very very hard. I've been praying since last night. God be with the families of everyone affected. This is just gut wrenching.

Have heard 40 missing in addition to the mystic girls.

Bleh. Was watching the news this morning and chatting with my wife's grandfather. We were talking about whether the mid 20s number that has been tossed around was total or just the camp.

Blakely is the kind of girl that I expect them to say they found her smiling 15-20 miles down river having the time of her life. She has handled way more in her life than she should have to and takes it with a smile.

Just adding our family's prayers to the thread. Derm and all, we are praying for you. My sister knew a family that was lost the last time this happened a few years back. It's just horrible.

I checked in with a client of mine last night (local official). He was out walking banks with staff.

They expect the 40 number to go up. Having a hard time getting accurate numbers of missing and accounted for at several of the RV parks and campgrounds.

Total in Kerr County. That may have grown as stated above.
