My uncle's stock tank in Robertson County. I caught bass every time.

Growing up on the Guadalupe River above Canyon Lake when it was a rarity to see another human on the river and everyone that had homesteaded or lived there reverently called it the Guadalupe River instead of the now slang the " the Guad".

I really miss the deer lease I had in Mason County for over 20 years.

I miss going out, filling feeders and shooting cactus, rabbitts & rattlesnakes.

How about back seats at a Drive In movie with a honey.

Going to work with my dad, and then when in season we'd pick black berries from the truck windows. Eat them on the tailgate and talk.

A couple ranches I got to hunt In South Texas without Brad, Jerry and Mitch's involved.

Western/ elk hunting before it became the cool thing to do on social media and prices skyrocketed.

Living in Montana. Sure it is really different now, but I miss it!

Not having 37MM people in Texas and being able to get on a road and simply drive down the road.

Bench seats in trucks, standard transmissions, not having constant pain in every joint every day, being able to sleep through the night without having to get up to piss, Canadians and snows overhead from late December through March and chasing them through the coastal prairies, the taste of an illegal beer in a pasture around a bonfire at night, walking in the Chicken on a hot summer day knowing you won't be leaving until the lights come on, when phones were at the house only.

Does have the flip up center console but no manual transmission, no CD player, It was the most bare bones technology free truck I could find.

Oh man, I miss Dave South calling Aggie games period. But the image and remembrance of combining that with dove hunting, hard to top.

I lived in West Texas for a while. Miss it some. East Tenn is really good sans the food. But, opening a food trailer hopefully spring 2026.

Loading up Zeke's 57 with an ice chest full of yellowbellies and going to Riedel Bros and Moods dances in Poth, Kosciusko, Cestohowa, Martinez, St Hedwig, La Vernia, Nordhiem, Turner Hall, Lindenau, Weid, Cotton Patch, Grenau or Garfield on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights back in the late 60's and dancing with the young ladies.

Waking up in the morning and feeling good.
