I had my hunting boots resoled a month or two ago and had to buy new laces as well and would like to recommend both companies and products if anyone is looking for something similar.

I used Dave Page Cobbler located up in the Pacific Northwest to resole the boots and they did a great job and they come highly recommended from several different places. Work and communication was terrific.

Secondly I was looking for new laces and knew I had trouble finding good replacement laces my other boots have combination of 550 cord and cabelas/bass pro replacement laces and I haven't been happy with any of them. I ended up finding a recommendation for Rhino laces and took a chance on them and so far I really like them and they exceed my expectations in all categories. Will be going on some longer trips later this month and will be able to update with more experiences. You can only buy them on their website and I was taken aback at first and I wasn't going to pay $20 for laces but evidently they always have 30% off in the cart, says it is today only but it said that when I bought first pair and then again today when I bought a second.

Hopefully this information helps someone.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with Dave Page, I will likely have him resole my Lowas after this hunting season.

Do you think Rhinos will stand up to South Texas brush and sand burrs?

These are meindl hunting boots. The laces seem very tight woven and don't stretch like normal laces. My first thought when I opened them was I don't think these will pick up burrs like normal laces extremely tightly woven. I don't think they will be damaged by burrs at all but not sure if they will pick them up easy. Going to really test them in a couple weeks. My understanding they were developed and sold by western forest fire fighters so they don't burn etc. I will report back.
