Unless things have changed in the last few years, there is not much in Seguin worth stopping for. Giuseppe's is ok Italian food. Granzin's makes good sandwiches. Cleat Springs up toward NB. Other than that, I suggest you keep driving to the next town.

IB4 someone suggests the Powerplant. I ate there twice & they had horrible food & service.

Burnt Bean has excellent BBQ if you can get in.

Depends on where you are coming from and where you are going to.

Get a burger at Kirby's.

The BBQ at HEB.

Su Casa but their salsa is so awesome you may suffer from a case of colon blow.

Burnt Bean has a line around the block at lunch.

Blake's in McQueeney if you are on the northwest side of Seguin.

Otherwise... Whataburger or Schlotzsky's.

I've worked in Seguin since '99.

Burnt Bean is only open Thurs - Sunday. If you find better barbecue it is just because you prefer a different flavor.

A-tan's is good sushi. It is a little pricy, but good.

Blakes in McQueeney has good food is a couple of miles off of 10.

HEB barbecue is good. It is hard to get to.

Clear Springs is good, but a little bit of a drive towards New Braunfels.

My wife really like Garcia's Mexican, but you can't throw a rock and not hit a Mexican food place in Seguin. They are all about the same.

Gg's cafe is good in Marion. It is right next door to Penshorns

1838-good food, small and noisy but good
Gg's-can't complain about the food. A little more space but loud as well.

100% on Noe's, their four tortillas are amazing and their food is good.

A-Tan is pretty dang good
1838 was shut down last time I tried, they may be limited hours now
Family always wants to eat at Los Cucos.. it's fair to OK if you get the pricier menu items, service is usually good to great and it seems well managed.

Burnt Bean is pretty darn good. I have driven down twice from Fredericksburg just to eat lunch there and thought it well worth the time. Plan your trip accordingly and get there at 11:00am, you'll get in.
