Need to know if anyone has any personal experience with any gun engravers. I have used Baron Technology in Milford CT. In the past but wanted to know if anyone has had anything done more local and what the quality was like. No gripes about Baron's work, just the time and price.

No idea what local means to you, but Capitol Armory in Austin does good work.
+1 on Capital Armory in Austin for SBR engraving, etc.

Not sure where you're located, but Gordy & Sons in Houston has done some minor engraving for me. I would imagine from some of the stuff I've seen them do they could probably help.

Realistically, there is no timeline on when they have to be engraved... so basically just before you sell them.
I still recommend it to negate possible headaches but I've never really heard about anyone being harassed about it

I've got a Henry Big Boy that I need two logos engraved. One on each side of the receiver. I appreciate the suggestions and I will reach out to the "Texas" engravers.

If you're in central Texas then go and see Jesse at FAFU. He was in West but I believe he just built a new shop near Axtell (Waco area). He's done great work for me and I know that he has done work for some pretty high profile clients.
