Background - man in my bible study group has a son with issues. Has degree in Aerospace Engineering but works at Home Depot. History of drug and alcohol abuse. Clean for 9 months. Is tested regularly as part of agreement when he moved home with his dad.

Mom died from OD 6 months ago. Trailer trash grandma and step grandpa suing for custody. (also suspected drug users)

Friend and son are losing every battle in Amarillo court, probably because they are using local (Houston) atty.
We (his friends) are recommending they hire Family Law atty in Amarillo.

PS - other issues that I am reticent on mentioning may require PI. So, also looking for recommendations there.

I know several personally and had to deal with one. If you want a good Amarillo bulldog the Cindy Barela Graham is about as good as they get. Sally Emerson is an absolute terror but I'm not sure she is still practicing. She represented my ex wife! Claire(blanking on last name) is another good one. Hope that helps.
