Might start tomorrow for you but sept 11-26 for everybody else. Being it's the wife's b day, it's next week for me. Which is fine. Full moon sept 20 and that's always our best week it seems. Teal and bull frogs on the grill next weekend.

I spied green wings yesterday on my " pond ". Yesterday. Unusual for this time of year. They were hangin with gadwalls.

A flock? Seems theyre usually scattered randomly in with the bluewings. Odd on how they migrate. Some really early and some will hang out with the frozen late season mallards.

I enjoyed listening to Bink talk with Mickey live during a hunt. Pretty entertaining. Maybe a thought to do some live hunts while you interview someone.

Got 5 yesterday morning. Not many to go around though. Where have all the teal gone? Seems like about 5 or 6 years since we've had alot of teal in central Texas.

I had a group of 6 teal in our pond Saturday when I was fishing. They took flight when I got out of the truck and they tried to come back about dark when I was catching bass on a pink zoom worm.

I plan to head out somewhere on the coast south of Houston tomorrow. All my friends bailed and I don't really like heading out on the boat by myself.

If anybody is interested I'd be glad to take 1-2 people along. Only requirements are your own shotgun and licenses. Caveat: I average about 1.5 birds per hunt so dont expect to get any photos like the ones above!

Haha I knew that was going to be brought up. Probably should've disclosed that to begin with. I got a different one. I'm a lot more careful now and honestly am a little scared to drive at night hence the wanting someone to go with me. I should probably be okay as long as I don't try to go in buffalo bayou again.
