I first noticed this about a week ago and it was the size of a pea now it's the the size of a quarter and swollen. It doesn't appear to phase him except for him licking on it. Oh and rule #1 on the 90lb meathead.

Take him to the vet when you can. I have a dog that would randomly develop these "plasma cysts." Antibiotics usually take care of it. Unfortunately, it didn't work for the last one, and we had to amputate the toe. Still dealing with it a month later. Weight of walking around keeps opening it up.

Looks sorta like a lick granuloma but it is very puffy/cyst like.

Spear grass awn or other foreign body would be very suspicious. Probably going to need to get examined. Soak in epsom salt can be a good thing. If there's a foreign body it may work it's way out or may have to be explored
