Azaleas Survived! and a bonus Iris pic

Not very surprising. We have azaleas here in Tennessee, and have had below freezing temps for more than a week. Haven't had any issues with them doing well here. At least in my experience.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.
How do you keep the deer away?
I live in a very populated area unfortunately. So the deer are kind of nonexistent except for the doe who took up residence with the local cattle herd.el_scorcho said:

Will Ironite work?
My azaleas unfortunately definitely don't look like that. One has very few green leaves coming in but other two have nothing yet.
Lovely picture. Azaleas are the primary redeeming quality of east Texas.

Mine are just now showing some green in Zone 9.
Think I've lost my pyracanthas, oleanders, star jasmines, satsumas, calamondines, asian grapefruit, Meyer's lemons and orange trees.

I wish mine had, but they were too young and small to battle the freeze.
