Just picked up a Tikka 308 wanting to put decent scope on it for hogs, deer and other varmits on the ranch. Most shots will be under 250 -300 yards. Not wanting to break the bank, but also not one of the cheap junk ones I have had in the past. Im west of Houston dont mind driving in. Thanks

Got the new Rudolph 3.5-14x in. It's pretty slick and a little under $300. Japanese made at Kenko (not as badass as LOW but you're not paying the price point for those, either). Also have some Bushnells in that are Japanese, they're either Kenko or JOL manufacture, not sure which, but both are pretty much the tier 2 Japanese manufacturers after LOW. In fact, Kenko makes Sightron, which I hate the name of (too 80s sounding) but Sightron is pretty well regarded.
