Where could I find an old used 4x4 to buy for a good deer lease vehicle? Looking for something reliable for under $4k, possibly a 4 runner or something similar. Would be nice to already have quail rack seats on front or some accessories but not a necessity. I already own a tailgate feeder.

Will be hard to find for that amount especially is you want it reliable. Add another $4-6k and you might find something at least from my recent experience. Ended up going the UTV route instead.
$4k won't buy a reliable 4x4 4Runner.

Just for perspective, I paid a little over 1/3 of your proposed amount for a two seat quail rack.
Geo Tracker or Suzuki Sidekick are going to be the only thing worth anything in that price range.

4 Runners are probably the most premium priced used vehicle on the road. It's incredible how expensive they are - was trying to find one for my just graduated college son. We finally bought a Lexus GX 460 which is made on the same platform as the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado which is sold in international markets. You can pick up a used GX 460 at a much more reasonable price than a 4 Runner.

As others have said, 4Runners are not cheap. I've been looking at used ones for the same purpose and for that price, you'd likely have to be north of 300k miles and likely some sort of fairly significant defect based on what I've seen over the past few weeks.

My car for two years at a&m was a 1975 buick lesabre with no roof and no doors, painted camo and with a dual roll bar (haha). Was a great quail hunting car as you could idle down ranch roads sitting on the roll bar and steering with your feet while holding your shotgun. Will look for a pic.
