This is a sweet bow and an elk slayer. It's kind of a beast with aggressive cams and 80 pound limbs. Frankly, I've gotten too old to wanna wrestle with it anymore.

Bowtech insanity CPXL. RH. Draw length is 29.5" but this model can go up to 32" in draw length. 80 lb limbs.

This set up is probably 6-7 years old. It's been hunted hard at times and has some wear. Probably needs a new string and a tuning but plenty of years and miles left on this equipment.

This was all high end stuff bought new at the time. Over $300 just in the arrows and broadheads. $250 in the quiver. $180 in the rest. The bow was $1099.

I'm in the Austin area. I'd take $450 or offers on it. Or a semi-auto 9mm handgun in trade.

Sounds like a great deal, but wow 80 lbs. I wish my 60 to 70 was lighter...

This may be a silly question, I am in the market for a bow to learn and grow on. Can you take the LBS down some or are the cams set to have to have it at 80lbs?

It can be turned down. It could probably get close to 70 lbs.

I'm sure they are 70-80lbs.

Somebody buy this!! This bow was the bow to have when it came out and not much has changed. In fact, I'd argue Bowtech jumped the shark on this one and that this bow will stack right up to anything currently produced.

Having it rigged out with accessories (except the 2 things you really want to pick for yourself anyway) and at this price is nutty. This is a steal and when/if you pull this rig out of the case around any type of knowledgable company, they'll know you're serious about your craft. And you can take it to the woods tomorrow with confidence in your tools. That's value added with a purchase like this.
