It's been tried before with great success.



Not the most flattering pic but it's all I got. Year and a half old deer liver was still pretty good. Not great like it would have been back in July of 18, but good.

I don't do anything fancy. Just slice thin, coat with flour and pan fry.

Personally, I don't coat with flour. Just salt & pepper and pan fry, usually in a little bacon grease. Then when the livers are medium-rare I pull them out and cook the onions. Serve with good bread and brown mustard.

One of my favorite books. I feel like a complete wimp compared to how hard those guys were. Might be due for a quarantine re-read.

The boys in the boat was one I really enjoyed that made me feel like a sissy. And they didn't even have to kill anyone

I think it's that either 1) forgot to put the year on the date or 2) can't read the year now that it has been vacuum sealed, so the only way to know what year is to open the package or thaw it.
