ALONE; The Beast starts tonight. Anyone interested in watching?

3 people try to survive for 30 days. Dropped off with no tools whatsoever.
I don't think it will be as intriguing as the regular ALONE.

The show format has been broken for a while now (since the season where 3 of the final 4 were pulled due to starvation) and this seems about as dumb as the horrific "pairs" season theme, but I love these shows and I will 100% be watching.

I also agree. It became a starvation contest.
Maybe they should just pluck contestants off the street and not let them get ready for weeks/months by putting on weight.

This version of the show might be worth watching just for the ingenuity.

Watching, but yeah not sure how this will pan out. At least we finally see some big game go down and they have to utilize everything from it. Aside from last season it was always a rat eating fest.

Also, this is basically Naked & Afraid with clothing.

Meh. Naked and Afraid in clothes. Some of the naked ones stay out longer than 30 days.

Ahhhh dang switched to YoutubeTV, no History...

Could they not break off some antler and use that as a blade? Those rocks seem ill suited to the task.

They didn't. It was killed for them and they had to find it via a flare.

This one felt rushed but that lady was pretty awesome. In the previews it looked like they are doing different environments including a swamp which I'm looking forward to. I've been wanting this show to get out of a woodland environment to mix it up for a while now.

She definitely was a bad ass, but that really isn't going to hold much interest for me. The swamp, maybe so just to see the bugs and stuff, but some of the others will be blah given what we have seen. The lack of competition just sucks any life out of it.

Can't believe that dude tapped out so easy.

Sadly, Alone is now, well, left alone.

I'll be watching. But I've got a personal interest- Zane Kraetsch (one of the participants) is from Pagosa and a friend.

Always wondered if those primitive technology YouTube video-guys would fare on any of these shows?

I was thinking of breaking off parts of that antler to use to make a weapon when that bear rolls back around.

By chance, do you have an AT&T cell phone? I do, and my monthly plan comes with an AT&T app called Watch TV. That app, has the history channel, and I get to select one premium a month also, so we choose HBO for that. I'm not pushing AT&T for cell service, as their CS sucks major, but, this is one benefit of having their overpriced stuff. I don't think YoutubeTV or HULU get History channel from what I can find, and I have searched both, as we are cord cutters that have those services. Anyway, if you happen to have a cell contract with AT&T, I believe you qualify for the app.
