You might also check to see if that's really what's causing the trouble. Dig a couple of shovels and see if you find any grubs.
my tomatillos just bloom and then the blooms fall to the ground after awhile. No fruit. And yes, I have two plants.jayelbee said:
So far, we've picked about 2 dozen tomatillos between the 2 plants, a few peppers and a couple of Okra. Planted more beans and cucumbers in a better sun spot because my other ones aren't growing like I want.

Could still be poor pollination. You can try hand pollinating them with a paintbrush your your fingers.
This is why I love this thread. I'm totally green to this (amateur gardener joke) and I wouldn't have thought that my pumpkins needed paintbrushes to have sex.Streetfighter 02 said:

Some folks use a pinch, but I find that a bit presumptuous.Streetfighter 02 said:I don't think my wife finds it humorous when I tell her I'm fingering my plants.Old RV Ag said:Ive found a swirling motion works well.AggieOO said:crazy thing is, i've seen bees on the plants. maybe my plants are gay?Boat Shoes said:Streetfighter 02 said:
