Located in Comanche county, low fence. My guess is red deer, but the closest place with exotics is about 25 miles away.

It's either a Red Stag or a mix of the Sika/stag. It is not one of the "pure" free range Sika (Japanese/dybowski mutts) I am used to seeing and I have seen plenty.

Color of the animal and the way it looks overall, especially the face, doesn't look like any sika I have every seen (I've even killed one). Looks more like a yearling red deer to me.

I live in Comanche. I have red deer on camera on family land very near the Hamilton/Comanche County line, south side of Hwy 36. They have been in the area for a couple years.

The face doesn't fit a Sika at all. First thing that popped off to me.

We used to have Red Deer on our ranches. That is a Red Deer stag........first set of antlers 1.5 years old.

I'm just north of there closer to Carlton. Thanks everyone for the input. Definitely not something I was expecting to see when I pulled the camera.
