I was at wedding recently where several '71 Ags were gathered and I overheard one ask his classmate if he knew Gene Finney had just passed away. I never shook Gene Finney's hand, but I knew the man they were were talking about because for many years I've shared this forum, PMs, and emails with our fellow poster, SD_71.

I searched to see if anyone had shared the news we'd lost another one, but didn't find anything. It looks like after almost 20 years of TexAgs - Gene last posted here. I wouldn't have called him an old man - but he sure would yell at a cloud if was required, and I mean that in the best of humor - because that's what many of our shared laughs centered around. It doesn't seem right to lose a long-timer without the proper sendoff.
