VORTEX UH-1 damn predictive text . Any one shot this optic? I am thinking about getting one. I know Eotech is king of the holographic sights, but Vortex warranty and customer service is hard to beat.

Thoughts?

if youre referring to the UH-1 its a good optic. i'll be getting this one with their new magnifier whenever my 300blk sbr gets out of jail.

Yeah I just bought a new AR9 and DDM4V7 Pistol. But will be waiting for the suppressor. I might SBR the DDM4V7, but the brace is comfortable enough to shoot and the barrel is only 10.5.

I just got back a form 1 from one I sent in last year and that still took 9 months. That was before the efile came back so I've got about a half dozen items to send in

Yikes.... My .30 cal suppressor took 6 months for the tax stamp. This time I am doing a multicaliber. I don't want to have to wait several months every time I decide to switch guns.

I've got one that's currently sitting on an airsoft gun. I've just used it to shoot wasps in the backyard so no hard use. It takes CR123A batteries instead of AAs like some of the Eotechs. I personally prefer a reticle that has some holdover dots for longer ranges.

I usually just buy cheap Primary Arms red dots if it's going on a fun rifle, the UH-1 I picked up from a prize table.

Well I ordered the Vortex over the Eotech. We will see how I like it. I have another older Eotech I can compare side by side.

Ended up finding it on sale and could get the Vortex and Magnifier for the same price as just the Eotech.
